Our Explorers learn through teamwork, hands on activities and having fun
Throughout the year our Explorers participate in activities designed to:

Foster independent thinking and decision making

Build self confidence

Create team spirit and trust in each other and themselves

Increase sense of purpose in our community
Advisor led group activities include:

Volunteering at community events such as Kool April Nights, Redding Rodeo, Parades, Thanksgiving Turkey Trot, Foster Children's Christmas Party, and other volunteerism as requests are approved

Annual camping trip

Law Enforcement related field trips such as tours of Juvenile Hall

Explorer Competitions
All activities are supervised by an Explorer Advisor or other Department Employee. Safety is always our top priority with all Advisors being 1st aid and CPR certified, as well as youth supervision training as required by the Boy Scouts of America, Learning For Life program.
