The Redding Police Department Explorer Post #93 is excited to announce its new college scholarship program. Through generous donations from members of our community, and various law enforcement Employee Associations, we are able to offer these scholarships to our Explorers as they begin their college programs.

Congratulations to our 2022 John C. Hawkins Memorial Scholarship winner, Explorer Captain Kyson Reber!!
Kyson Reber has been a Redding Police Explorer for over 3 years, held the rank of Squad Sergeant and now Captain. Kyson is not only an excellent member of the Explorer Post, he is also an excellent citizen to his community. Kyson has volunteered and been apart of every major event in Redding!
It is my honor to award the John C. Hawkins Memorial Scholarship to Kyson Reber and wish him well in his bright academic endeavors!
